ImpactScope provides individuals, companies and organisations with various free tools and services to help them calculate and offset the CO2 emissions of their digital assets. Visitors to the ImpactScope website may from time to time be presented with opportunities purchase independently audited voluntary offsets in carbon sequestration and carbon avoidance projects in various geographic locations. The offsetting projects offered are certified by recognized and reputable third parties, such as Gold Standard, Verra or Plan Vivo. 

Third party procurement

ImpactScope engages the services of third parties for the purposes of project procurement, settlement, payment, quality control and offset retirement. By using this site, you signify your consent to the following Terms of Use.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

The services offered by ImpactScope are governed by Swiss law. Unless otherwise agreed, the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland shall have jurisdiction in any dispute arising in relation to the services agreed. ImpactScope makes no representation that the materials on our site are available for use in other locations.

Use of this site constitutes your acceptance of the Terms of Use. We reserve the right to change such terms at any time by posting changes online.

Email Disclaimer

The contents of emails sent from ImpactScope, including any attachments, are confidential and subject to copyright. They are intended only for the use of the individual or entity to which they are addressed. If you have received an email in error, please contact the sender immediately by returning the email and then delete it (including any attachments) from your system. If you are not the intended recipient of the email, any disclosure, copying, distribution or use of its contents is strictly prohibited. 

Availability of offsets

Occasionally, due to third party settlement delays, it may occur that some or all offsets purchased in a specific project cannot be retired. In such cases the offset purchaser accepts that ImpactScope and its partners have the right to provide a similar or greater quantity of offsets in a substitute project of their choosing.

Liability

ImpactScope is not and will not be held responsible for any damage that includes, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, data, or profits, whether in the action of contract, negligence or other tortious action, arising out of or in connection with the use of this site.

Restiction on use

This site is owned by ImpactScope, an association registered in Switzerland, whose office is at Rue Fendt 1, 1201, Geneva, Switzerland.

Content that includes names, images and logos which identify ImpactScope and our services are the property of ImpactScope or assigned parties, and are protected according to copyright and trademark laws and may not be reproduced or republished unless our formal approval is granted.
